Heaven's Scent

My past lover -gone-why?
My shadow tip toes behind my yellow spine
My piercing tears poke fun at my grieving love heart-I cry
My silence-meditates- I wait
I ask the stars, give me a sign
Our loss of -us-lingers like a Tom Cat astray
starving at someone else’s backdoor
Howling, meowing for more-scraps
From afar I smell faint
heaven’s scent of our love
A fool was I dressed in multi-colored Jester’s clothes that brightly wrap
and surround my body’s form
Yet, My beating soul of truth does dance
Heaven sent us once in infinity-love gives us a second chance
