Whale Song

Communication without words.
Eerie sounds vibrating through
deep waters.

The shy full with an audience
of restless, chatty, Water Birds.

This aquatic soloist has reemerged,
to the surface.
To take it's breath for the next,
enormous, mystical note.

Ocean's opera singer, Orca, the killer whale.
A distance choir of Porpoises have heard.

Dolphins, come swim alongside of me.
Sing in the encore of the sea,
The Whale Song.
