Best known for their magazine Keltria: A Journal of Druidism and
Celtic Magick, but the journal recently ceased publication.
Neopagan tradition that works solely with the various Celtic pantheons.
Will release a Keltrian Correspondence Course early in 1999.
Keltrias lineage has its roots with ADF and RDNA.
Well known Keltrians include Ellen Evert Hopman, author, and Tony
Levels of membership: Participant, Dedicant, Ring of Birch (producer
class), Ring of Yew (noble class), Ring of Oak (priest class and able to start groves).
Within Ring of Oak, there are 3 additional tiers, that of Hawthorn
(teachers/ secondary clergy), Rowan (primary clergy) and Mistletoe (overseer of clergy,
devotee of service to the Ancestors, the Nature Spirits or to the Gods).
Members do not specialize as Bards, Seers (Ovates) or Priests (Druids)
until entrance to the Ring of Oak.
Keltria celebrates the following days:
The 4 solar festivals (solstices and equinoxes), and the 4 earth
festivals (Samhain, Imbolc, Beltaine, Lughnasadh)
2 monthly lunar festivals (Mistletoe Rite on 6th night of the moon, and
Vervain Rite after sunset of the 3rd Quarter)
2 yearly commemorative feasts, the Feast of Age and the
Feast of Remembrance.
